Barry Island Botanical Spiced Rum 70cl

Barry Island Botanical Spiced Rum is a small-batch Welsh craft rum inspired by the produce historically carried aboard ships travelling past the South Wales coastline towards Barry Docks.

A 3-year-old molasses-based Guyanese rum is hand-spiced over several days using natural botanicals, with the liquid agitated twice daily to develop the flavours. It is then lengthened with pure Welsh water from the Brecon Beacons.

Vanilla provides a smooth natural sweetness, fresh orange peel brings bright citrus, while cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice give the rum warmth and depth. No artificial colours, flavourings or sweeteners are added. The producer describes it as warm, rich and smooth, suitable for sipping neat, mixing or cocktails.
